Polity & Governance: The Cabinet approved the 'Bihar State Teacher Transfer Rules 2026', a comprehensive policy to streamline the deployment of school teachers across the state. In another move, land for a temple was legally separated from the Buxar jail premises to resolve long-standing administrative and religious issues.

Economy & Infrastructure: Bihar will implement FASTag-based toll collection on State Highways. The government has also approved the creation of five new private universities to boost the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in higher education. Furthermore, judicial infrastructure projects across several districts received a green light.

Tourism: A new Heli-Tourism project has been launched in Patna. Residents can now experience a 15-minute chopper ride over the city at a subsidized cost of Rs 2,100.

Sports: The Direct Recruitment Rules for outstanding athletes have been amended, facilitating easier entry into government services for sportspersons who bring laurels to the state.
