Polity & Governance: The Delhi government is working on a proposal to strengthen the authority of District Magistrates (DMs) and will implement the Disaster Management Act, empowering DMs against unauthorised construction.

Economy & Finance: VAT on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has been significantly cut from 25% to 7%. A Cabinet-approved scheme worth Rs 5,041 crore targets the replacement of old trucks and buses in Delhi-NCR to curb pollution.

Social Sector: Widow and disability pension beneficiaries are now covered under PMJAY. The income clause for Kashmiri migrant relief has been removed, directly benefiting 1,832 J&K migrant families. Farmers affected by last year's rains will receive compensation of Rs 75,000 per hectare for crop damage.

Sports: The Delhi government will offer a cash reward of Rs 7 crore to those winning Gold medals at the Olympic & Paralympic Games.

Technology: A Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)-based smart ration distribution system will be introduced for greater transparency and efficiency.
