Polity & Governance: The Maharashtra Cabinet has approved a major departmental restructuring, expanding the number of administrative departments from 33 to 45. This move is designed to fast-track decision-making and distribute workloads more effectively across the state's bureaucracy.

Economy & Infrastructure: The state government has secured a USD 500 million loan from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). This funding is specifically earmarked for the Rural Roads Scheme to improve connectivity in remote areas.
