Polity & Governance: The Uttar Pradesh Information Department launched a new YouTube Channel named ‘Suchna Pravah’ to strengthen its digital outreach and dissemination of information. SP MP Awadhesh Prasad criticized a recent UP Cabinet meeting, citing a disconnect with farmers and the public.

Economy & Agriculture: UP government Minister Anil Kumar stated the aim to raise the sugarcane price above Rs 400 in the upcoming revision. The central government is set to procure pulses and oilseeds under the Price Support Scheme (PSS) in four states, including Uttar Pradesh.

Infrastructure & Connectivity: An agreement for the Kishau Dam project was signed among six states: Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi. The Kishau Dam is being constructed on the Tons River, a major tributary of the Yamuna River. Uttarakhand is actively pushing for the extension of the Namo Bharat rail link from Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) to Rishikesh, aiming to reduce travel time between Delhi and Rishikesh to approximately 3 hours.
