• Age Limit: The applicant's age should be between 18 and 50 years.
• Educational Qualification: The applicant must have passed at least Matriculation (10th standard). Preference is given to those who have passed 10+2 (Intermediate), ITI, Polytechnic Diploma, or an equivalent degree.
• Category: Applicants must belong to one of the target categories: Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Extremely Backward Class (EBC), Women (including transgender individuals under Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyami Yojana), Youth (General and Backward Class male applicants under Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana), or Minority communities (under Mukhyamantri Alpasankhyak Udyami Yojana).
• Enterprise Type: The scheme is strictly for establishing and operating a new manufacturing or service unit. Existing businesses or their expansion are generally not eligible.
• Bank Account: The applicant must have a current account in their own name. In the case of a proprietorship firm, a current individual account in the applicant's or the firm's name is valid.
• Firm Registration: It is mandatory for the applicant to form their firm or company and get it registered. This often becomes a requirement after initial selection and project approval.
