To be eligible for the Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

• Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident (domicile) of Maharashtra.
• Gender: Only female applicants are eligible.

• Families where any member is the Chairman/Vice-Chairman/Director/Member of the Board/Corporation/Undertaking of the Government of India or State Government.
• Families owning a four-wheeler (excluding vehicles used for agricultural purposes by a farmer).
