To qualify for the Haryana Ladli Social Security Allowance Scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Domicile/Employment: The biological single parent or parents of the family must be domiciled in Haryana or be working for the Government of Haryana.
- Family Composition: The family must have no son, whether biological or adopted. Only families with one or more girl children are eligible.
- Age Criterion: The enrollment of families under this scheme commences from the 45th birthday of either the mother or the father.
- Income Limit: The gross annual income of the family from all sources must not exceed ā¹2,00,000/-.
- Household Exclusions:
- Guardians or any parent of the child who is employed by any Government or by any Local/Statutory Body, or any organization substantially financed by any Government or Local/Statutory Body, or who is drawing pension or family pension therefrom, are not eligible under the scheme.
- Income received or accrued from accumulated earnings, including Provident Funds, Annuities from Commercial Banks, Financial Institutions, or Insurance, is considered in the income calculation for eligibility purposes.

- Age Proof (Any one of the following documents issued prior to 24.08.2018):
- Birth Certificate (Issued by Registrar, Birth & Death)
- School Certificate (5th, 8th, or 10th class)

- PAN Card (with Photograph)

- Voter List (with Photograph)
- Residential Proof (Any one of the following self-attested documents issued prior to 5 years):
- Ration Card (issued by Food & Supplies Department, Haryana)
- Voter Card (issued by Election Department, Haryana)
- Name of the applicant in the voter's list that shows a photograph.
- In case none of the above are available, a self-declaration document along with any other documentary proof verified by the District Social Welfare Officer.
