To avail the benefits of the MP Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0, applicants must meet specific criteria:

  • Girl Child's Birth Date: The girl child must be born on or after January 1, 2006.
  • Domicile: Both parents must be native residents (mool niwasi) of Madhya Pradesh. A valid domicile certificate is required.
  • Anganwadi Registration: The girl child must be registered at the local Anganwadi centre.
  • Parental Income Tax Status: Parents must not be income tax payers. Some sources mention an annual income threshold of ₹2,50,000.
  • Family Size & Family Planning:
    • The scheme is applicable for families with a maximum of two children (daughters).
    • Family planning must have been adopted after the birth of the second child.
    • For the first girl child, the family planning condition is not mandatory.
  • Application Timeline: The birth of the girl child must be registered for the scheme within one year of her birth.
  • Special Cases:
    • Orphaned girls without surviving parents are covered, with the district Women and Child Development officer handling registration.
    • Legally adopted daughters are also eligible, provided adoptive parents meet other criteria.
    • Triplets born in a first delivery are all eligible.
    • Daughters of rape victims and children of women prisoners are also eligible.

Applicants need to prepare the following documents for the Ladli Laxmi Yojana application:

  • Girl Child's Birth Certificate: Proof of date of birth (must be on or after January 1, 2006).
  • Samagra ID of Girl Child.
  • Girl Child's Family ID (Samagra ID of the family).
  • Photograph: A recent photograph of the girl child with her mother or father.
  • Domicile/Residence Certificate: Proof that parents are native residents (mool niwasi) of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Parents' ID Proof: (e.g., Aadhaar Card, Voter ID).
  • Parents' Income Certificate: Proof that parents are non-income taxpayers (some sources mention an annual income not exceeding ₹2,50,000).
