To be eligible for the Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Jan Aadhaar Yojana, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Resident of Rajasthan: All resident families permanently residing in Rajasthan are eligible. A resident is defined as an individual who has been residing in the state for at least 6 months.
  • State Government Employees: State government employees, including pensioners, who may not be residents of Rajasthan but are working in the state are also eligible.
  • Head of Family (HoF): The designation of the Head of Family follows a specific hierarchy:
    • A woman aged 18 years or more.
    • In the absence of a woman aged 18 or more, a man aged 21 years or more.
    • If neither of the above conditions is met, the eldest member of the family will be designated as the Head of the Family.

Household Exclusions: While there are no specific income-based exclusions for applying for a Jan Aadhaar card (it is for all resident families), a Jan Aadhaar ID can be cancelled under certain circumstances:

  • If more than one Jan Aadhaar ID is issued to the same family, subsequent IDs will be cancelled, and the earliest one will be retained.
  • Cases where enrolment appears fraudulent or requires deactivation as deemed appropriate by the Authority.

Ensure you have the following documents ready for your Jan Aadhaar application. All documents should be in clear, legible format.

  • Aadhaar Card: Copy of Aadhaar card for the Head of the Family and all family members aged 5 years and above.
  • Birth Certificate/Aadhaar for Minors:

    • For members below 5 years of age born outside Rajasthan: Aadhaar number is mandatory.
